Synote Media Fragment Player on Different Devices and Browsers

The following table shows the test results for temporal and spatial fragment highlighting functions in different browsers and devices. This table does not intent to show the support of different codecs in different browsers, so for the Resources of the test, we use whatever file that could be played in that browser.

Note:
  1. Native browsers, i.e. Safari for iOS and Chrome for Android, are used for the test.
  2. There are issues when start playing.
  3. The player won't just to the start time when start playing, but will pause at the end time.
  4. The player has problems to connect to YouTube. The error message is: Unable to post message to http://www.youtube.com. Recipient has origin http://yourdomain.
  5. Cannot load the player.
  6. Temporal fragment can be played correctly, but the spatial highlight cannot be displayed due to full screen mode.
  7. Cannot correctly load metadata.
  8. Temporal fragment can be played correctly, but the spatial highlight can be displayed.
